Blue, in self-archaeology, instead of the book (Record of Buddhist Monasteries in Lo-yang)
Self-archaeological first intuitive inquiry
All, as the agency, are subject to a degree of orthogonality (orthogonality effect), where the subject intends what is consistent with the agent’s qualia of expectations. The intention the beginning of what I call archaeology of de-subjectiveness. Why, then, are the images and language that I have generated after having seen the book several times related to 'blue'?
After many attempts to concretise and project the book, I found that the intention to the book in the creative process was less than the immediate feeling and pleasure of the blueness of blue. It is not easy to summarise the concept of the book in precise terms, so that the word qualia, as a direct description, would carry an ineffability of the object beyond rational analysis. Like a face transcends the subjective existence and its ethics, my intention for blue seems to be long-standing in any case, and I feel that I should try to do an archaeological excavation of the reasons why this precedes self-subjectivity. This archaeological excavation intends to merge the concepts of Foucault and Levinas - to uncover the existence of a null-locus of essence that precedes subjectivity.
This archaeological approach to analysis can best begin with the phrase: "One should substitute one's intuition for the past that has happened and for the future that may be about to happen, and experience it for oneself". The emphasis is on results and correlations of perception, and what is being done here is not about perception but about the conatus that precedes perception, sensation and acquisition and where it is located. Blue seems to be a very 'substantial' colour, ultramarine blue is not too deep or boredom at first glance, it is 'ethereal' and subdued. This is the 'feeling' of its sensation because in the question of logical reduction and generalisation - the category - arises - how to go beyond that ultimate being - the essence - to uncover the ethical judgement of no subject. To discover the subject's perception of blue and the penetration from perception to 'subjectivity', it is necessary to find the premises of prehistory. The clues, to begin with, are very fragmentary, such as the blue in a painting, the pronunciation of a phrase that points to blue (Derek Jarman 'Blue'), and the reappearance of Qualia in blueness of blue. I have tried to make Yves Klein's Arch Sponge by other colours with disastrous consequences, colours that I could not find the original quality of feeling in any way. This is the perceptual basis that I was about to dig out - to uncover. Since previous activities often influence people with perceptual habitus, the agent tend to take on the characteristics of previous presence. The subject's perception of blue is like that of a blood sample under a microscope, which is red to anyone who is not colour-blind, but in which the expert can see that there is a piece of disciplinary information about red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. In other words, the purpose of the excavation is to find out where this information was located.
Awareness of self induced by prehistory
The blue points to a consistent quality and suggests variations and rhythms that vary greatly, the otherness that is alienated from the subject, which is the suggestive direction of the blue, for example when interpreting YK and DJ, I am still convinced of that. Nevertheless, within the paradox, there is also a contradiction, the blue has a sense of oppression, and being in an ultramarine environment, there is an solid-extreme sense of being sublime engulfed, but at the same time, because of this passive aesthetic, the process creates a transference. Based on such a bipolar metaphysical metaphor is what leads to such purity and limits in their work.
